WoW: Cataclysm

It’s four o’clock in the morning and one individual in the guild voice-chat exasperated screams, threatens, curses and sobs because they had been (inadvertently) given an armor that makes him about 1.5% stronger to some one else. Officers announced a break of five minutes to decide how to solve the existential drama of the injured party, an occasion to run for your life cross the hallway into the bathroom.

Yon as a hippopotamus in the mirror and study yourself notice the bloodshed than formed on top of each other, crowded under your eyes that are so tired and yellow that if you did not know better, you would’ve thought it is because you have liver problems. If you’re afraid that WoW: Cataclysm will transform you in the character of the previous lines, you should not worry. It is impossible. Once labeled as the most dangerous and as addictive as heroin and Facebook, the controversial MMORPG danger level that once was causing divorce claims drastically reduced. Even more desperate than the individual depicted above are probably LoL fans in need of a League of Legends referral, but rest assured, WoW and in fact no modern game is as damaging as it was rumored in the past. Report of effort / reward is considerably less, so the early missions in newly introduced areas and the high level is undoubtedly more interactive, more intense and less repetitive. Where you put the narrative thread is finally decorated with suggestive videos and animations, instead of abstract puzzle of information to be sought so far to understand the background story.

Thus, Cataclysm WoW is a more intense and more concentrated video game this time to halve the amount of experience needed to progress to the full, gained perhaps the most bright in color content provided by Blizzard so far. True, the old-new continent is smaller than the endless plains of the Lich King’s Wrath for example, but it is compensated by the dynamism and density.

Just the way in which beginners can get a League of Legends referral and gain Riot Points, Blizzard has not neglected any potential newcomers, “nine goods” being represented by one race for each faction (Goblins for Horde and Worgen for the Alliance), with a fresh starting area and impressive story that outlines the simple, clear and convincing integration into conglomerates of already established breeds.

For both fresh factions the learning curve is optimized even for the lost persons on Facebook, and narrative depth that is compelling enough to motivate even the most hardened of WoW veterans to make a turn.
